NEW 30mph Speed Limit on Station Road
After several years discussion, and over a year in progress, the new speed limit of 30mph on the A361 coming into Shipton from Chipping Norton, is now in force.
The process has been a long one:
- permission sought from Oxfordshire County Council
- consultation of residents
- two speed surveys
- resolution by the Parish Council to pay for it
- and finally implementation by OCC
Please monitor your speed when entering the village. The speed limit is there for a reason.
